Seminars in the field of population and development are held twice a year in two different cities in Japan in an effort to increase understanding and support of population issues among the general public. APDA invites distinguished speakers and sets themes that relate to Japanese public interest (such as dwindling birth rate, aging population, environment, HIV/AIDS, gender, Reproductive Health) on a more global perspective.
